Our rental fleet
includes the both sit-inside, sit-on-top and pedal kayaks from Wilderness
Systems, Perception and Hobie. All rentals include life vests and
paddles. Kayaks are rented from either the Boulder Junction or the
Highway 51 location north of Minocqua/Woodruff.
Delivery Charge is $1 Per Mile Round Trip (15
miles away is $30)

With more than 1300 lakes and 73 rivers and
streams, Vilas County has plenty of paddling opportunities. Take a trip down one
of the rivers or explore miles of water on the many lake chains. Take a one-day
outing or take a weeklong trip.
There’s no shortage of good paddling water in
Vilas County. A number of quiet lakes in the Northern Highland-American Legion
State Forest provide unmatched serenity for paddlers. The headwaters of the
Wisconsin River offer another outstanding paddling option.
